File this in the not really tech but I don’t care department. Browsing around on Google Video last night, I came across this video of the first man in space. It’s a two minute clip on an Air Force experiment involving on the affects of extremely high altitudes on the human body.
Basically Joe Kittinger was stuck in a balloon that took him up for three hours before he jumped. On his fall he reached speeds of about 615mph and amazingly suffered no damage. Crazy talk.
Also, this is as good a place as any to call attention to the new “300” movie trailer over on Yahoo! Movies. Check it out, it just became my #1 most anticipated film of 2007 (then “Grind House,” “Smokin’ Aces,” “Black Snake Moan,” etc.).
