You basically begin by downloading video through TiVo’s web interface – found at https://[your-tivo's-ip-address] – and then coverting it and viewing it with Mplayer.

First, however, you have to download and compile/install TiVoDecode using XCode. Rock out, rinse, repeat. It’s so deliciously easy that it’s almost criminal. Oh, wait…
