Hollywood Hearts PS3

I’m apologizing in advance for posting this, but I find it extraordinarily silly. Sony sent out a press release this morning announcing last night’s unveiling of the PS3 to “Hollywood’s elite.”

At the invite-only event, David Arquette and Nick Cannon witnessed a new era of gaming, playing PS3 launch titles such as Resistance: Fall of Man, Genji: Days of the Blade and NBA 07, demonstrating a high-definition gaming experience never before possible until PS3 with its Cell Broadband Engine, RSX graphics processor and high capacity format of Blu-ray Disc (BD). James Franco and Jamie-Lynn Sigler got the chance to view the summer blockbuster from Sony Pictures Entertainment, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby in pristine picture quality on BD. Christina Milian and Nicky Hilton saw how PS3 goes beyond gaming with its ability to browse the Internet, rip music, store and display photos and upload digital videos. To help celebrate the future of entertainment, hip hop star Diddy gave a special performance to a crowd filled with stars such as Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.

Well then, if it’s good enough to impress the Hiltons and David Arquette then I’m totally buying one on the 17th. Oh, wait, that’s right, I forgot that I’ll have to sell my first-born to get one on launch because Sony didn’t make enough. I want to see video of this event. Few things are funnier than watching celebrities use technology. I can’t find a link to the full release, so I’ve posted it after the jump.
