The Samsung SCH-B600 isn’t exactly “available in the US”, but it’s good to see where we’re going in the next three years. The camera phone has a 10-megapixel sensor for its camera, and if it that wasn’t enough, it also has a 3x optical zoom lens. If you can use any phone to be your “point and shoot” camera, this is it.
We first saw this last year, but it’s available for purchase now in Korea for $900. It also has DMB TV, Bluetooth and PictBridge for printing out those 10-megapixel cameras. Though we hope they don’t have to be transferred over Bluetooth because that would take about as long as the phone takes to make it to the US.
