Expansion docks get short shrift from most manufacturers and I’ve maybe seen them actually used once or twice in my lifetime. However, Belkin believes that an intelligently made one might turn a few heads. This $199 dock includes:

  • VGA and DVI ports
  • 5.1 surround sound
  • 5 USB ports
  • Ethernet
  • ExpressCard support

The device simply accepts all of the notebook’s outputs – headphone jack, video, etc. – and ports it to external device. Clever.
