Misfit introduces a new Speedo-branded swim tracker

Misfit is back with another swim-focused fitness device, the Speedo Shine 2, which combines all of the hardware capabilities of the Shine 2, which the Speedo-branding and swim tracking of its predecessor.

The Cullen Jones endorsed wearable counts laps, tracks activities and sleep, does text and call notifications and features a vibrating swim timer. It also has multicolor LEDs, a battery that lasts up to six months, and, naturally, is water-resistant up to 50 meters. There’s also a Speedo logo etched into the back for good measure.

The new Speedo’d out version is available now through Misfit’s site, and will start shipping in a couple of week. Owners of the Shine 2 and Ray will also be able to upgrade their existing devices to include swim tracking for $10 a pop.
