This is pretty big. Rockstar’s upcoming LA Noire will be an official selection at the Tribeca Film Festival. It’s the first time a game has been accepted into the festival.
As you can see in the above picture, Rockstar will host some sort of preview on April 25, moderated by the film festival’s chief creative officer, that will discuss the coming nexus between gaming and filmmaking.
The game, as I’m sure you all know, will be released on May 17 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
I suppose I’m not the only person who immediately thinks of LA Confidential when thinking about the game. That’s good, yes.
