We are relaunching TechCrunch France

As you probably are aware TechCrunch France has been dormant for some time and we apologise for that.

However we’ve been working on the right strategy to integrate it back into the TechCrunch Network.

As a result, we’re now going to relaunch TechCrunch France as a sister blog to TechCrunch Europe, but obviously all the coverage there will be in French.

We’ll continue to cover French tech companies on TechCrunch Europe and TechCrunch.com in English, and continue to syndicate our biggest stories onto TechCrunch.com.

But there will now be dedicated content in French on TechCrunch France as well. We’ll also be occasionally posting French language excerpts from TechCrunch.com posts onto TC France, where we feel this is appropriate.

We feel this is the best way to alert an international audience to the tech scene in France, while not losing the loyal readership that was built up on TechCrunch France.

We’re also very happy to announce that Roxanne Varza, who has been contributing to TechCrunch Europe from Paris in recent months, will now be taking over as Editor of TechCrunch France. Roxanne will also continue to write in English about French tech companies across TechCrunch’s network.

Please welcome her, and send her news about your tech startup to rvarza [AT] gmail.com

Here’s our post on TechCrunch France.
