Creathor Venture invests in French mobile advertising company Sofialys

[Germany/France] Creathor Venture, the Germany-based VC firm has invested “several million” euros in the French mobile advertising company Sofialys. The Paris-based startup, launched in 2002, provides mobile marketing and advertising solutions for operators, publishers, agencies and advertisers.

The new investment will be used to support the further development of Sofialys and help the company continue to expand internationally. Additionally, says Creathor Venture, Sofialys will benefit from the VC firm’s ties to the mobile market which includes other companies in their portfolio, such as Netbiscuits (Kaiserslautern), aka-aki (Berlin), Mobiles Republic (France), DIVA (Switzerland), and Doodle (Switzerland).

Sofialys recently launched its global mobile advertising marketplace Aditic which “interfaces publishers and advertisers to sell and buy ad inventories” for smartphone applications and mobile web. Its other main product is the Mobile Adbox ad server.
