Samsung’s got a new line of netbooks coming soon – the NC310 series — although details are still a bit murky for now. The entire press release is in Korean, but a quick run through Google’s magical translation machine leaves us with words such as “premium” and “sophisticated” along with the following specs:
- Intel Atom CPU (no word on the actual model, though)
- 10.1-inch LCD (assuming the resolution will be 1024×600)
- Weighs 2.72 pounds with standard battery
- Five hours of battery life, standard, or up to 11 hours with extended battery
- Wi-Fi included, Bluetooth, optional 3G chipset
- 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM
- Three USB ports, 3-in-1 card reader, 1.3-megapixel webcam
It appears that the NC310 will come in four colors, too: black, a salmon reddish color, purple, and a light greenish-blue color. No word on price or an exact availability date but it’ll apparently be released next month in Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, and North America followed by a worldwide release sometime in the future.
