Proporta’s new Portable Laptop Battery aims to solve that problem with a 6000mAH battery that can provide hours of use after your internal battery dies.
With multiple connectors, it can hook up to most laptops with ease. It even comes with a USB port in case you just need to charge your iPod or cellphone. Only two devices are said to not work on the battery: The Nokia N95 and Microsoft Zune. Since the latter doesn’t exactly have a huge following, I’d say it shouldn’t be an issue. It’s available this month for $200.
