The frequent and extreme flooding, hurricanes and drought caused by climate change has prompted activists and governments to take action. It’s also spurred a growing number of entrepreneurs to launch technology startups focused on the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions. We’ll hear from Carmichael Roberts, who co‐leads the investment committee at Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Sean O’Sullivan, managing general partner at SOSV, about the current state of climate tech, the startups that have promise and the potential risk and opportunities of investing in them.
