At Connection, we believe in shining a light on the many hard-working IT professionals. In addition to celebrating their hard work, we support them — in big organizations and small — by being their IT department’s IT department. Of course, the ultimate celebration of their efforts would be an annual award. And that’s exactly what we started last year.
Who’s the unsung IT superhero you can’t live without? Who keeps the lights on? Who continually problem-solves and keeps your systems up and running?
We believe just saying thank you isn’t enough, we need to give IT professionals the awards they deserve. Connection and TechCrunch are proud to be partnering again for The Connection IT Superhero Awards.
Tell us how — in 300 words or less — your favorite IT superhero saved the day, or solved a problem, or how they’ve crushed deadline after deadline.
Nominate your IT Superhero for this year’s awards! The categories are Best Team Leader, Best Rookie, Best Catch, Most Unshakeable, and Best Superpower.
We’ll announce the category winners — as well as the Ultimate Winner — on Oct. 20th at TechCrunch Disrupt on the main stage!
The winners will choose from selected IT and career development non-profit charities for Connection to make a donation in their name. The three organizations the winners will be able to select from are: Year Up, NPower, and Girls Who Code.
You can nominate one person or each person on your IT team. This is a great opportunity to give them the recognition they deserve.
