TechCrunch expands event portfolio with TC Sessions

TechCrunch recently announced a new event type, called TC Sessions, which are single day events structured to go deep on a single important topic and bring together, both on stage and in the audience, an expert roundtable of founders, investors, researchers, students, and corporates. These events are substantially smaller than our flagship Disrupt shows – they don’t feature our Startup Battlefield competition or a live feed of the proceedings on the mainstage. Instead, TechCrunch’s editors aim to create a mainstage experience that brings together the top influencers in a new, fast-evolving field with an an expert, engaged audience that is eager to interact with the speakers on stage. TechCrunch will concurrently run workshops on sidebar topics and ensure there’s plenty of time to engage with fellow attendees and network. TC Sessions have several ways that your company can integrate deeply at the event whether you seek brand alignment or personalized activities with our attendees.

We have already announced our first two events in the series: TechCrunch Sessions: Justice (June 6 in SF) and TechCrunch Sessions: Robotics (July 17 in Boston).

TC Sessions: Justice will address the issues of diversity and inclusion in tech and will feature several luminaries and organizations currently leading this discussion. Tony Prophet from Salesforce and Maxine Williams from Facebook are just a few of the people you can meet and learn from at our event – you can find our complete agenda here. Sponsorship packages are available and if you’d like to attend, you can request an invitation here.

For TC Sessions: Robotics, we are collaborating closely with MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and have announced several top industry figures who will also be participating in the event. The agenda, which will be published in the coming weeks, will include the top founders, investors and researchers and grad students in AI and robotics from around the world. Sponsorship information is available here and you can get updates when registration opens by signing up here.
