What is the refund / transfer policy for Disrupt SF passes?

All purchases are NON-REFUNDABLE but you can transfer your pass to another person up until the day before the event. Follow the manage your registration link on your registration confirmation email to initiate a transfer.

Do you have preferred hotels for Disrupt SF attendees?

Yes. We have negotiated the best rates at several San Francisco hotels at various price points. If you find a cheaper hotel elsewhere, please contact us at TechCrunch@38NConnections.com. You can find a list of our preferred hotels and competitive rates when you book through our hotel portal. Plus if you book through our portal, you can request a rebate of up to $150 on your registration fee for the conference!

Will you be serving food at Disrupt SF?

There will be several vendors located at the Moscone Center with food and drinks available for purchase. There are also a multitude of restaurants within a 2 block radius of the Moscone Center. You can find a partial list here.

What is TC Top Picks?

TC Top Picks is a pre-conference competition where early-stage startups can be awarded a VIP Disrupt experience which includes a free Startup Alley Exhibition package and the opportunity to be interviewed by our TechCrunch editors live on the Showcase Stage, and we promote that interview across all our social media platforms.

TC Top Picks are selected by the TechCrunch editorial team, with up to five outstanding early-stage startups in specific categories. You can find the list of categories and details on application deadlines on the Startup Alley page.

Is there a mobile app for the conference?

Yes, we will launch the TechCrunch Events App approximately 4 weeks prior to the event which will be your mobile guide to the event! We will not have any other printed materials at the event – this will be your key to making the most of your experience with us!

The TechCrunch Events app will launch and be available for attendees to begin networking in August. Attendees will be emailed with information on how to access the app when it’s available.

What is CrunchMatch?

CrunchMatch is our exclusive in-conference platform which allows conference attendees to request meetings with one another, schedules a date/time and assigns a specific table at the event for them to meet within the CrunchMatch area at the event. CrunchMatch is NOT available for Expo Only pass holders.

CrunchMatch will be accessible through the TechCrunch Events app in August.

How do I get to the venue?

The Moscone Center is extremely central to the heart of San Francisco.

Easily accessible by the underground BART transit or MUNI metro, riders can disembark at the Powell Street Station and walk 5 minutes to the entrance with Moscone North on your left as you approach from Howard street. More specific information about the venue, including parking and traffic alerts can be found here.

Can I volunteer at SF Disrupt?

TechCrunch Disrupt can’t happen without the support of our wonderful volunteers. If you are interested in getting some first-hand experience working on this historic annual event, we’ll be opening up applications for volunteers this summer where you can apply for a chance to work with us! In exchange for working 16 hours at the event, you’ll get an Innovator Pass to attend the event for free! Stay tuned to the website or email volunteer@techcrunch.com if you have any questions.

Can I pay for my passes via wire payment, check or invoice?

Yes, you can secure your seat at the event and lock in the current price by selecting the Pay Via Invoice option when you register for your passes online. You will be asked to provide your billing information that will be shown on the invoice and once you finalize registration, you’ll be emailed an invoice with instructions on how to pay via wire or by check.

All wire and check payments will need to be RECEIVED by our Accounts Receivable’s team no later than September 1, 2020 or any pass reservations will be cancelled. Please note that it sometimes takes up to 2-3 weeks for the Accounts Receivable team to verify payment so submit your payments as soon as possible to ensure you meet this deadline before your pass is cancelled. Once payment has been verified, you will receive an email confirming that your payment has been applied to your order. If you have any questions, please email events@techcrunch.com.
