Erica Lee, CEO of DeepFarm, goes from Zero to Disrupt in 3.9 seconds

Erica Lee, CEO and co-founder of DeepFarm.ai, thrived under the pressure—and G-forces—of the BMW Hot Lap Pitch, winning the contest and securing a stage at Disrupt NY, where she’ll demo her A.I. platform aimed at preventing the $18 billion in crop loss every year.

Erica, along with eight other founders, took their elevator pitches to the racetrack in the fastest and most advanced BMW 5 Series ever built, the 456-hp M550i, driven by racing legend Bill Auberlen.

The entrepreneurs were each given a 2-minute, full-throttle lap around one of America’s most menacing tracks to prove to CrunchFund Partners Pat Gallagher and Susan Hobbs—who were watching and listening track-side—that they could perform and deliver through the twists, turns and high speeds of entrepreneurial life.
