What Ticket Type Is Right For Me & What Do I Get With It?

General Admission Ticket

Investors, technologists, later-stage startups, and tech enthusiasts

  • Each ticket is good for 1 person
  • Full access to all days of conference & after parties
  • Investors/Qualified Founders get invited to participate in CrunchMatch

Startup Alley Ticket Package

Early stage** software and other startups in all verticals

  • Each package includes 2 general admission tickets
  • 1 day exhibit table in Startup Alley (day assigned by TechCrunch)
  • Full access for two people to all days of conference & after parties
  • Access to CrunchMatch

Student Ticket (238 Euros – Application Only)*

We do have a special student ticket rate of 238 Euros. Currently enrolled or soon to be enrolled students in a college or university program, high school students OR recent college/university graduates are eligible and can apply via the application below. Additional information can be found on eligibility via the application link.

Nonprofit Ticket ( – Application Only)*

Current full-time employees of non-profit organizations with 501(c) 3 designations can apply for the Non-Profit ticket rate to Disrupt. To apply for the discount, you must email government@techcrunch.comfrom your organizations email address and a copy of your organization’s 501(c) 3 designation.

Government/Military Ticket  (Application Only)*

Current full-time employees of federal, state or local government agencies, current full-time employees of international government agencies and active military employees only can receive an attendee ticket to Disrupt.  To qualify for the discount, you must email government@techcrunch.com from a valid .gov email address with a copy of your current, valid government ID. Additionally you must present your current, valid government identification card during registration check-in at Disrupt.  If you are unable to provide valid government identification at the event, you will be charged the general admission rate.

The government discount cannot be combined with any other discount offers.

Government contractors, including contractors working on government “Cost Reimbursable Contracts”, are not eligible for the government discount.

  • Government issued Visa, MasterCard or American Express
  • Government picture ID
  • Military picture ID
  • Federally Funded Research Development Corp (FFRDC) ID

Press Ticket ($0 – Application Only)*

Current members of a legitimate press organization.

I’VE GOT MY TICKET, NOW WHAT?

For All Attendees:

Download the Disrupt App and start connecting with attendees – Download through Apple Store and Google Play – The Disrupt App is available approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the start of the conference.

Check out the agenda, browse through all startups and sponsors and plan your schedule. 

Disrupt Berlin 2017 will be held at Berlin Arena from 3-4 December.

For Investors:

Participate in CrunchMatch to get private 1 on 1 meetings with startups/founders you’re interested in.

Visit the Startup Alley site for a complete list of demo companies organized by day and vertical. List becomes available approximately 5 weeks prior to the event is updated weekly.

Day-Of Check-In & Registration

  • Doors open at 7:00am on Monday and 7:30am Tuesday
  • Programming begins at 9am each day.
  • Bring your printed ticket or pull it up on a mobile device for quick entry into Disrupt.
  • Bring your photo ID every day as we will be checking it against badges throughout the event.
  • Don’t forget your badge every day – there is a 300 reprint fee for lost or misplaced badges.

Ticket Name Changes

You can digitally change the name on your ticket at anytime before the first day of the conference. If you are having trouble finding your ticket in your email inbox/trash/spam folders, search for “Universe”, our registration platform.

Once doors open on the first day, you will need to go to the conference help desk at registration if you need to change the name on your ticket.

Once your badge is printed at the venue, you will not be allowed to change the name or transfer to someone else. All badges are checked against names on IDs.

Disrupt Mobile App

The Disrupt App helps you find and chat with other Disrupt attendees, view the complete agenda, watch the livestream, vote for the Startup Wild Card, and so much more! Download the app in the Apple Store or Google Play. The Disrupt App becomes available approximately 3-4 weeks before the start of the conference.

GENERAL FAQS

Are meals served during the conference?

Yes, a continental breakfast and box lunch are provided each day of the conference.

Can I give my name badge to another person?

If you need to change the name on a ticket prior to the first day of the conference, please follow these instructions.

If you need to change it once the conference starts, you will need to go to the Conference Help Desk at registration. Once your badge is printed at the venue, you will not be allowed to change the name or transfer.

What forms of ID are acceptable?

We accept government-issued photo ids such as an official driver license or passport.

I am having trouble locating my ticket in my inbox.

Search your inbox for the word “Universe”. Universe is the name of our ticketing platform, and should bring up your ticket.

Do you have a bag or coat check?

Yes, we do provide bag and coat check.

Do you have a single day ticket?

We do not offer single day tickets. All tickets are for all 2 days of the conference.

Do the companies in Startup and Hardware Alley change?

Yes, each day of the conference there are completely new companies on the floor and each day features different verticals.

Is there an App?

Yes, you can download the TechCrunch Disrupt App on Apple Store or Google Play. The latest release for this event will take place approximately 2 weeks before the conference.

Yes, you can view all attendees here.

I’ve lost my badge what do I do?

There is a €300 reprint fee. Come to the registration desk and they can print you a new one once the fee is processed.

Do you sell tickets at the door?

Yes, tickets at the door are at general admission price.

Can regular attendees go to the After Parties?

All conference attendees who are 18+ can go to the After Parties. Make sure to bring your government issued photo ID and also your conference badge to get in.

Do you record the stage interviews and presentations?

Yes, all of our stage content is recorded.

Is there wifi at the conference?

Yes, there is wifi at the conference, free of charge.

Do you have facilities for nursing mothers?

Yes, we have a private area for nursing mothers. Please come by the reception help desk if you would like to use the facility.

I can’t pay through the website/I need an invoice. Can I be invoiced?

Yes. Please email events@techcrunch.com

Is There Women-Focused Content?

Yes, we have a Women of Disrupt Breakfast. All women at Disrupt are invited to attend. Invitations are sent via email. The breakfast will feature some panel discussions on women-focused content.

We are hosting a Women of Disrupt Breakfast (to be announced soon). All women who are registered for Disrupt are invited to attend. The breakfast will feature panel discussion on women-focused content and networking opportunities. All women attending Disrupt will receive an invitation to attend via their registered email.

Startup Alley FAQs

 

What is included in a Startup Alley (SUA) Package?

  • 2 full conference passes
  • one day exhibition, 30” round cocktail table (includes linens, wifi, power, and tabletop sign)
  • Inclusion in the printed program guide
  • Inclusion in the digital program guide
  • Inclusion in the Disrupt App
  • Participation in CrunchMatch: TechCrunch Disrupt’s Investor to Startup matching program.

How do I apply for the Alley?

You can register for SUA through our main event website for whichever Disrupt you would like to attend. Companies are vetted upon registration for the event.

Do I qualify for Startup Alley?

Startups that participate must be less than 2 years old with under $2.5 million in funding. Exceptions are made on a case by case basis, particularly for industries that require advanced development (i.e. biotech, healthtech, robotics, hardware, machine learning).

What is CrunchMatch?

CrunchMatch is TechCrunch Disrupt’s Investor to startup matching program. Startups and investors who attend Disrupt have the opportunity to meet each other in private meeting sites at the conference itself. Investors have final say over which companies they meet with. 75% of investors had follow up meetings with companies they met at Disrupt.

What is Wild Card?

The Wild Card company from Startup Alley gets to pitch on the Disrupt main stage. Wild Card is a “people’s choice” vote via the Disrupt App and one company is chosen for Monday and another on Tuesday. 

Can I be part of a Country Pavilion?

Government organizations, universities and incubators/accelerators bring cohorts of startups to Disrupt to connect with the investors, tech enthusiasts, and press at the conference. If you are a startup looking to participate in a country pavilion, reach out to your government’s innovation or entrepreneurship arm.

I want to sponsor a Country Pavilion?

If you are an organization looking to bring a cohort of companies to Disrupt, please email sponsors@techcrunch.com. Pavilions range in size from 5 companies to 15 companies.

What is a Featured Pavilion?

Featured Pavilions are highlighted verticals at the conference. While you do not need to be in one of these categories to participate, if you do fall under one such category, then you will exhibit in that section on the show floor.

When do I get my second ticket?

Second tickets with the SUA/HWA package are distributed 2 weeks prior to the conference.

Where do I submit my logo?

Once you register for the conference, you are automatically signed up for Disrupt logistics emails. These emails contain all of your exhibition logistics and event information. Please read thoroughly.

When do I exhibit?

Exhibition days are assigned 2 weeks in advance of the conference. It is important to attend all days of the conference to make the most of your time networking.

Can I bring more people from my startup team?

Yes, you may bring additional team members for a reduced price. Please email startupalley@techcrunch.com.

I need an invitation letter to obtain a visa. How do I get one?

Email startupalley@techcrunch.com with your Full Name and Passport Number as seen on your Passport as well as the date of your interview.
