Mike Lynch, Autonomy Founder and now VC, will appear at Disrupt London

We’re excited to announce that we will be joined by the legendary Mike Lynch, the founder of Invoke Capital, a $1 billion fund that invests in European technologies. He holds a PhD from Cambridge in machine intelligence, sits on the prime minister’s Scientific Advisory Panel and is a UK Business Ambassador. Mike has founded a number of companies, including Autonomy, the UK’s largest software company, with a market capitalisation of $11 billion. He has also invested in Darktrace, Luminance, Neurence, Sophia Genetics and Featurespace, as well as advised venture capital and private equity groups.

He is a fellow of the Royal Society and of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and he is an Honorary Fellow of Christ’s College, Cambridge. He is on the advisory board of the Newton Institute, Tech City’s Investment Committee and is a member of the “Create the Change” board at the Francis Crick Institute. He was a non-executive director of Cambridge Enterprise and previous directorships include the BBC, the British Library and Nesta. Finally, he is a council member of the of the Foundation for Science and Technology. We’re happy to have him onstage at Disrupt London.
