Tripstir is a new app that helps you share travel plans and tips with your friends.
Think of it as a way to avoid those exasperating moments when you come back from a trip and you realize that one of your friends was in the same place at the same time — but you’re only finding out when it’s too late.
Basically, you use Tripstir by entering information about upcoming trips. Once you’ve got trips in the system, you can see other users who live in a given city, and the ones who are going to be visiting at the same time.
You can also see people who’ve been to that city in the past, because hey, that might still be a good source of recommendations.
