AppFigures Debuts Its Own App For Tracking App Store Performance

App store intelligence platform appFigures today rolled out a new iOS app that will allow app developers to track their own apps’ performance, including things like downloads, revenue and app store reviews. The launch is a long time coming for the app tracking firm, which previously offered its API to several third-party app publishers instead of focusing on its own native mobile experience.

The new application, the company says, has been designed from the ground-up for iPhone and offers a simple interface that makes it easy to see key data at a glance, as well as filter or drill down into that data for more detail. The app presents information in a dashboard interface, and uses a number of clear and well-designed charts where developers can view things like revenue, including breakdowns of total revenue versus app sales, in-app purchases, and revenue from ads. You can also delve into this data to see specific metrics surrounding things like impressions, clicks, and more.

Developers can filter the information by application, country, store and network, too. Another helpful feature included in the new release is automatic review translation, which allows a publisher to see what people are saying about their app in other countries. These reviews are flagged with a “translated” label for easy identification.

And of course, appFigures lets developers track their app downloads, including in-app downloads, updates, returns, and educational downloads.

What makes the app stand out is its design – which you can check out using the app’s included “demo” mode even if you don’t have an appFigures account at this time. Besides the attractive charts, there are others nice touches in the app, including its various animations, and its support for iCloud keychain, sharing, and accessing data offline, for example.

The app itself is a free download for appFigures customers who use its freemium-priced service to track apps, sales, rankings, reviews, and more.
