Everyone knows that Brooklyn is where it’s at (because I happen to live there) but did you know it’s also home to some amazing makers? We want to feature some of these fearless creators at Make It In Brooklyn event on June 25 and we want you to pitch.
Five finalists in the Tech and Maker category will be chosen – think of Tech as apps and services and Maker as hardware – and you’ll pitch for 2 minutes on stage. Winning companies will receive up to $50,000 in seed funding from the co-chairs of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership.
You can apply here and we will close applications in about a month. You should be a local to the city (although you don’t have to live or work in Brooklyn) and be ready to pitch in late June.
