Hold on to your butts!
TechCrunch is coming to Austin and Seattle in less than a month and we’re looking for the best and brightest startups in each area to compete in the TechCrunch Pitch-Off.
Our events usually attract thousands of members of the local tech community, who want to learn about what’s cool in their area. About a dozen startups will compete in the pitch-off, where they’ll have no more than 60 seconds to impress a panel of local VC judges and TC staffers.
First place will receive a table in Startup Alley at the upcoming TechCrunch Disrupt. Second place will receive 2 tickets to the upcoming TechCrunch Disrupt. Third place will receive 1 ticket.
If you’re an entrepreneur and are looking to pick up traction in your local area, the pitch-off is the best possible way to do that. Not only are you getting the word out to hundreds of early adopters all at once, but you may just wind up with an investment from one of our awesome judges (to be announced shortly).
So if you’re interested in competing, apply here (for Austin and Seattle).
But even if you’re not an entrepreneur, we want you to come check out the awesome. Tickets are available now for $10 (and include an alcoholic beverage, so you must be 21), but prices will go up during the week of the event so plan ahead.
