Apply For Disrupt Startup Alley Now, For The Deadline Is Nigh

Though we do inevitably put a price tag on it, the value of a table in Startup Alley at Disrupt can not be measured.

Or can it?

Turns out, 2013 saw 393 startups coming through our Disrupt Startup Alley, and have since raised a total of $94 million. That comes out to around $239k per company, with the folks appearing in Hardware Alley doing even better than that — 82 companies averaged $445k per company for a total of $36.5 million raised.

Startup Alley, for the Disrupt noobs out there, is our big exhibition hall where some of the best startups in the world get a table and the chance to woo passersby. And the passersby at a Disrupt conference are nothing to sneeze at. The show is packed to the brim with investors, members of the media, influential representatives from large tech companies like Google and Facebook, and some of our guest speakers like Sam Altman, Fred Wilson, and Yancey Strickler sometimes even do a little Startup Alley perusing themselves.

Each year is bigger than the last, and the same will be true in May for Disrupt NY.

Companies participating will get a cozy spot in the Alley for one day during the conference. For software companies, debuting on the first two days, there is also an opportunity to get onto the main stage. There’s a spot in the Disrupt Battlefield for one audience choice winner each day, to be plucked from the alley and plopped onto the stage for a chance to win $50,000 and unending glory.

NOTE: Disrupt general admission tickets are jumping by $1,000 next week. Save some cash and grab one while they’re still on sale.

We’re accepting companies that fit into the following categories: Advertising, Enterprise, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Marketing, Media, Social, Travel.

Then, on the third day, we fill up Startup Alley with hardware companies. Walking through there, expect to see motorized skateboards and 3D printers and drones all around.

If you want to check out your potential competition, a list of companies who have already signed up can be found here.

Registration for this magical experience ends in two days, on April 17. So now’s the time to move. Click here or check out the embed below, and see you all at Disrupt NY 2014 on May 7 – May 9.
