Livestream Comes To Google Glass

With just a voice command and a click of a button, a Google Glass wearer can launch the new Livestream app and start streaming from their face. The video streaming startup just announced the Glass app at the National Association of Broadcasters show.

Glass already featured a live video streaming platform in Google Hangouts. But with Livestream, Glass just took a big step towards commercial applications.

The Livestream app will soon work within Livestream’s existing broadcast architecture. Currently it allows Glass wearers to stream video directly to their Livestream channel.

As one of the most active and robust live video streaming platforms available, Livestream’s embrace of Google Glass is telling. The startup has long provided ways for broadcasters to show live in a unique way. But with Glass, the point of view will be noticeably more personal.
