Watch The Live Stream Of Edward Snowden’s SXSW Talk Here

Edward Snowden is set to give his SXSW talk at 12:00 EDT. Thanks to the Texas Tribune, the interview will also be live streamed and the video is embedded below.

Christopher Soghoian, the principal technologist of the American Civil Liberties Union, will interview Snowden on the impact of the NSA’s spying efforts on the technology community, and the ways in which technology can help to protect us from mass surveillance.

Snowden himself will of course not be live in Austin, Texas. He’s currently held up in Russia.

Like other notable past SXSW speakers, the interview will happen over Internet video chat, which will then be live streamed so anyone can watch. The future.

SXSW attendees can watch the interview live in Exhibit Hall 5 on the first floor of the Austin Convention Center. It will also be simulcast in two other ballrooms.
