We had an amazing time in Detroit this week, the second stop in our three-city tour for the TechCrunch Northern Meetups. We spent two very full days in the Motor City area talking with developers, entrepreneurs and investors from the heart of downtown Detroit to the college town of Ann Arbor.
It all culminated in the meetup itself, held on Wednesday night at the HockeyTown Cafe a stone’s throw from Comerica Park where the Tigers play. Nearly 1,000 techies packed all four levels of the place for several hours to drink, mingle, pitch, and demo.
Our coverage from the trip will continue to come out over the coming days (it was a lot of stuff!) For now, you can watch all the video coverage from the meetup event shot by TechCrunch TV’s kickass producer John Murillo in the video player embedded above.
The first video is an overview of the scene and some takeaways at the end of the night from Jordan Crook and me — beers in hand, of course — which you might have caught in Matt Burns’ great wrap-up of the event which was posted yesterday. The following videos in the player show sit-downs with some of the night’s top-notch attendees, from founders to VCs.
