eSellerPro raises another £1 million from Notion Capital

E-commerce platform eSellerPro, an eCommerce software provider for multi-channel sellers, has secured a follow-on investment of £1m from Notion Capital, following the £1.8 million Notion put in 2010. The money will go towards the product and entry into new markets.

Although established online marketplaces, such as eBay and Amazon, give retailers access to a huge customer base, it’s difficult to tie into those systems in an efficient way to keep storefronts up to date and manage multiple outlets. The eSellerPro platform cracks this by integrating the online sales process with existing internal systems. That means retailers can sync their back office systems with online marketplaces like Amazon. It’s closing the loop between online and offline.

eSellerPro is gunning to be one of the key SaaS companies in the UK. It claims to have tripled its revenues and customer base which includes Tesco Outlet, Dixons, Royal Mail, BMW, JJB Sports, Maplins, Whirlpool and BT Outlet. Its multichannel ecommerce platform processed £233m in sales on behalf of its customers in 2011 and they say they are heading to the £1m per day threshold.
