Proformative, which operates an online resource and community website for corporate finance, accounting and treasury professionals, has raised $1.1 million in funding in a Series A round led by Bullpen Capital and Mike Maples of FLOODGATE.
Proformative offers a professional community with more than 350,000 members, mostly senior executives working in corporate finance and accounting, enabling them to share news, exchange expert advice and whatnot.
Says Duncan Davidson, founder and managing director of Bullpen Capital:
“Proformative is building a marketplace for corporate finance executives. Marketplaces are hard to build, but once at scale, are very sticky. We see this company as building one of the long-term successful franchises of this era.”
Proformative was founded in 2009 in San Jose, California.
