New York Startups, Come Watch TRON Legacy With TechCrunch

You know you want to see Tron Legacy. I do. Is it me, or does that white-haired villain look a little much like Julian Assange? (Maybe it is him).

Come find out. If you live in New York City, catch the very first screening tomorrow night with about 500 other TechCrunch readers. We rented out two theaters, one in New York and one in San Francisco. The San Francisco screening is sold out, but there are still some tickets left in New York. You can get one here by donating $10 to a children’s hospital (we’ll cover the $17.50 ticket price).

Anyone can come, but we expect the theater to be filled with people from startups and online media. Maybe even a few VCs and angel investors will show up. So come with your co-founders or co-workers and call it a holiday party. It’s goingto be ablast. Watch the trailer below or read our review (spoiler alert).

We are releasing our last batch of tickets right now. We are asking for a minimum donation of $10 per seat. 100% of your donations will be given to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital (and we are matching donations up to $10,000.)
