Sirius XM Hosts Exclusive Paul McCartney Concert In Dec., Will Launch Dedicated McCartney Channel On Nov. 29

Look at Sirius XM, taking advantage of the big Beatles-iTunes story this morning to promote their programming! Synergy! Anyhow, Sir Paul McCartney will play a concert at the Apollo Theater in New York on December 13, and the only way you’ll be able to hear it is to listen on Sirius XM.

Sirius XM will also be giving out tickets to the show throughout the platform. If you win, you can see the concert in person.

There’s more! Sirius XM will have a whole channel dedicated to McCartney. Beginning on November 29, Sirius 33, XM 27, as well as their respective internet streams, will become “Paul McCartney’s Band on the Run Radio.” It’s a 24-hour channel devoted to McCartney’s music, from his Beatles days to his time in Wings, plus his solo stuff. It’ll be on the air for an entire month.

By the way, is that a new Sirius XM logo I see?

And as Jeff just reminded me down there in the comments, this the real Paul McCartney, not Bearded Paul McCartney (though, to be honest, I’d be more starstruck seeing Bearded Paul than regular Paul.)
