AT&T launches three new Motorola Android phones: the Flipside, Flipout, and Bravo

Surprise! The Motorola Flipout for AT&T isn’t dead! After a bit of weird behavior on AT&T’s part and an early sales debut on eBay , the Motorola Flipout will be hitting AT&T’s shelves on October 17th. Better yet, it’s bringing a couple of Android-powered friends.

The specs (From left to right, above):

  • The Bravo: Perhaps the least zany of the bunch, the Bravo packs 800 Mhz CPU, 3.7″ WVGA (roughly 800×480) display, and a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus. As far as dates go, all we know is that it’ll hit the shelves “by the holiday period” for $130 bucks a pop after all the standard 2-year contract/rebate stuff.
  • The Flipout: She lives! AT&T doesnt seem to be boasting about the specs of the oh-so-wonky Flipout, but we can glean’em from info Moto released previously: its got a 720mhz CPU, 3 megapixel camera, a 2.8″ display (320×240), and, of course, that crazy swiveling QWERTY keyboard. $79.99 after contracts/rebates, if you’re so inclined.
  • The Flipside: The confusingly similar name isn’t the only thing the Flipside has in common with the Flipout. QWERTY keyboard? Check (albeit one that slides, rather than pirouettes), 320×480 display? Check (though at 3.1″, it’s a biiiit bigger). 3 megapixel camera? Yep. Unlike the Flipout, though, there’s no set launch date for this on. It’ll go for $99.99 after contract whenever it makes its way to the shelves.

All three handsets seem to be running Android 2.1 with Motorola’s custom UI, MOTOBLUR, on top. So what say you, reader — any takers?
