A couple of days ago, we told you about a method for removing the noise from the vuvuzela, using a simple filter. Well, it turns out that the filter doesn’t exactly work as advertised. The good news however, is that Consumer Reports found a filter that does work, and they were kind enough to share the information. Details after the jump.

Previous filters were selling for around $3.50, but testers found out that in many cases it only made the noise worse. Consumer Reports offered some tips on how to actually remove most of the annoying noise from the video, allowing viewers to watch without being irritated.
