One of the first providers of personalisable video shopping solutions is Munich based ViCommerce. Founded in 2008 by Computer Scientist Philipp Berner, the startup developed a new video shopping technology that combines online video and e-commerce. With ViCommerce, users can purchase products directly from the videos.
“ViCommerce offers online shops an increase in sales based on an emotional shopping experience“ says CEO Philipp. Media partner websites can link their video material with a direct sales outlet to create a new revenue stream. All ViCommerce products are either SaaS-based or offered on a commission model.”
