Flash: Zero Punctuation sorta likes Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

Quick, someone check if Hell has frozen over. This week, Mr. Zero Punctuation talked fast about Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X, a flight combat game for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 that came out last month. He doesn’t hate it!

Yes, you read that right. Mr. Zero Punctuation actually has nice things to say about the game, going so far as to say that that, shock, it may well open his eyes to other games in the genre.

What Mr. Zero Punctuation doesn’t like, however, is the ludicrous storyline, which sounds a lot like the storyline of this season’s 24. Why, it’s just easier, and far less prickly, to depict your enemy as a rogue private military contractor than it would be to depict “the bad guys” (today: whatever Middle East country we don’t like; yesterday: the Russians) who more than likely think they your country is “the bad guys.”

But I digress.
