Tiny projector reflects the perseverance of mankind

See, this is what happens when an industry full of brave men and women work together to achieve a common goal – the goal, in this case, has been to keep shrinking projectors down until they’re basically invisible to the naked eye, right? Anyway, this projector is tiny! The Japanese-made CV-MP01 measures a mere 1.6 x 2.25 x 2.3 inches and weighs in at just 3.17 ounces while the LED-backlit imager uses LCOS technology to push out images and video at 640×480 resolution.

It appears to have a built-in speaker or speakers and a 3.5mm AV jack. Pricing and availability aren’t known, and we might never see it here in the states. But now we know that it’s possible to shrink a projector down to the size of a pack of cheese slices, which is really what we’d all been striving for since projection was invented.
