TechCrunchTalk will be an event which focuses on a number of current and relevant themes for the technology start-up community, via panel discussion and audience interaction. We’ll be discussing the trends, themes, issues, challenges and developments within the community, the industry and the local vs. European environment. The event is sponsored by Gateway2Investment, Zendesk, Heller Ehrmann, and BuzzPal.

Themes for discussion include:

– Raising investment for startups

– What are the major trends in European startups?

– Where is Mobile 2.0?

The idea is to just “shoot the breeze” and take question during three panels chaired by Mike Butcher, the editor of TechCrunch UK:

1. Startup perspectives
2. Trends in Europe
3. “New startups versus old hands”

We’ll finish off with some drinks and informal networking, in conjunction with the SeedCamp/TechCrunch party.

Where? Aqua River Brasserie, Unit 12 Flagstaff House, 9 St Georges Wharf, London, SW8 2 LE. Nearest tube station is Vauxhall station (exit 1 towards Vauxhall Bridge).

When? 18th September 2008 at 15.00. Presentations will last until 18.30 and then be directly followed by drinks and informal networking.

Attendee identification will be checked at the door. Due to the strong demand for tickets, we regret tickets are not transferable and not refundable. If you use your name to purchase multiple tickets, your guests must arrive with you to check in at the door.

Hosted by TechCrunch UK and organised by TwistedTree Limited in association with rassami.
