Digital photo frames might be everyone’s favorite Christmas gift, (to give, not to receive) and Samsung is launching two new Wi-Fi-equipped models. Neither one of ’em look terribly techno-chic so they might just bend in nicely with your Grandparent’s mid-70’s decor. The new units are loaded with features your lovely, but technology challenged, relatives won’t ever use though like Windows Live Spaces integration, USA Today RSS reader, and the second monitor option. Even if you’re still insistent on giving one your grandparents a digital photo frame that they will probably keep in the packaging until you come over, the eight inch SPF-85V will launch on October 1st for $199 and the ten inch SPF-105V on November 1st for $289.

Samsung Introduces New Line of Innovative LCD Digital Photo Frames
The Samsung SPF-85H, SPF-85V, SPF-105P and SPF-105V Digital Photo Frames Offer Great Image Quality and Style; Fits Any Spot in Your Home or Office

Available September 1st, the SPF-85H and the WiFi-enabled SPF-85V have an 8-inch screen and are offered with an estimated street price of $129.99 and $199.99, respectively. For those wanting a larger screen, two 10-inch digital photo frames will be available. The SPF-105P will be offered for an estimated street price of $199.99 on October 1st and the WiFi-enabled SPF-105V for an estimated street price of $289.99 on November 1st. These digital photo frames provide fantastic image quality that is now more affordable and can be purchased through Samsung’s authorized channel partners.
Wireless Connectivity, Unique Features and Versatility
These Samsung digital photo frames are wrapped in a glossy black bezel with rounded edges for an elegant look. Designed to blend seamlessly into a variety of environments, the Samsung digital photo frames are able to bring digital images to life. Each model features Samsung’s exclusive Starlight Touch Controls which integrate the On Screen Display (OSD) buttons into the bezel. Starlight Touch features capacitive touch buttons, which disappear from the bezel after 10 seconds of inactivity. These digital photo frames can also be used as a secondary monitor for your laptop or desktop, using Samsung’s exclusive UbiSync technology.
