Android: More info on the G1

The fun doesn’t stop, folks. The same chaps who brought us "official" images of the G1 this morning have revealed a mighty fine list of specs for the T-Mo Android handset. I think I’m most excited for the built-in compass in Google Streetview. Rock. On.

First off, that “chin” that’s got everyone talking is allegedly called a “kicktail” and the slide mechanism is considered an “arc slider screen“. How that works isn’t clear yet, but we want to see it in action.

Dig in, here’s the rest of what we’re hearing about the G1 handset. Keep in mind, that none of this is considered official as it’s coming from various places. The bold items below have been added as of 1:00 PM EST.
