MacRumors has some conventional wisdom for you this morning: if you’re thinking about buying a Mac or iPod, wait till the end of September. That’s when Apple is supposed to hold some sort of event, where it’s expected to announce some sort of iPod revision (probably the nano), as well as an update to the MacBook and MacBook Pro. We’ve been hearing about a new, re-designed MacBook for some time now, and given that Apple has historically used September to introduce new products, it’s reasonable to assume that we’ll see some sort of action vis-Ã -vis the MacBook.
Of course, this is idle summertime speculation, often borne of sleepy, why-aren’t-we-on-vacation editors looking to pass the time.
But yeah, you might as well hold out for another month if you can.
