CrunchArcade: Go!View on-demand video store for the PSP ready by summer

goviewpsp

No need to overanalyze, but Sony has teamed up with Sky in the UK to create an on-demand video store for the PSP. Go!View, as the marketing folks have named it, will lets users download and watch all sorts of entertainment, from hilariously dry comedy to infamously drab sporting contests—yesterday’s dire Manchester United-Barça game comes to mind.

The service doesn’t appear to work from the PSP itself. Rather, users download the content onto their computer (Macs, too? Who knows!), then transfer to said PSP.

Look for it ’round summertime. Other interesting and useful details, such as price and title selection, haven’t been announced.
