Looking for an exciting business laptop? How about just a business laptop? If it’s the latter, then the new Dell Vostro lineup might be just right for you.

Starting May 1, you’ll be able to get your hands on the 13.3-inch Vostro 1310 starting at $749 or the 15-inch Vostro 1510 starting at $599. If you can contain your excitement until the middle of May, you can get the 17-inch Vostro 1710 starting at a currently-unknown price.

Dell’s playing the “we asked our customers what they wanted” angle and claims that security software and lighter weight were the two big selling points. As such, the 13.3-inch Vostro “has 94 percent the viewing area of a 14.1-inch model, yet weighs nearly 20 percent less” at 4.6 pounds. That’s not too bad considering Dell’s penchant for chunky laptops. The 15-inch version weighs 5.7 pounds.

All new Vostro models will also feature slot-loading disc drives, fingerprint readers, something called “Trusted Platform Module 1.2” which prevents data theft and network access, and pre-installed McAfee Total Protection for Small Business.
