Taking aim squarely at the MacBook, Dell today launched the XPS M1530 series notebooks. Prices range from $999 (basic) to $1499 (loaded), and comes in a 1-inch thick, svelte form factor.
Notable add-ons include the cheesy fingerprint scanners and slot-loading Blu-ray R/W drives for $500 more.
Sadly, you only get Vista as an installed OS, and you get your choices of Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate Business. No word on if there’s an upgrade to Extreme Super Ultimate Bizniss and Money edition.
And you even get your choice of colors.
