Tickex wants to be Kayak of ticketing

There are already lots of event search web sites and aggregators which reverse into Ticketmaster but more commonly they have poor ticketing information, and almost certainly no way of searching the secondary ticket market. That’s where Tickex comes in.
Tickex is a search engine for tickets to live events – concert, theatre and sports aiming to aggregate results from all the major primary and secondary brokers. In fact, they pitch themselves as the “Kayak of ticketing” which is probably the simplest way of putting the idea.
The business model is of a pure-affiliate. Tickex passes on pre-qualified traffic to the ticket sellers in return for commission.

It launched a UK service 3 months ago and the US version just recently. The site now now claims to have the largest ticket inventory – 7m tickets – in the UK.
