Ubiquitous Communication

cleartext.jpgCollege students these days often times have numerous devices, and far too many messages to manage. But clearTXT has recently introduced Ubiquity, a distributed information delivery system meant for colleges and universities. It is currently used by more than 70 educational organizations, including University of Cincinnati, Seton Hall and University of Memphis.

This program requires no software app to download or install, but works across most cellular phones and service carriers to provide a way of disseminating information such as emergency alerts, campus-wide messages, class assignments, calendar events and student government news. And because this system can be managed by the school, it does not send commercial messages or other ads.
