Sprint Drops Upstage's Price to $100

<img src="https://techcrunch.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/Nextel has discounted the phone by 33% to $100 (with a 2-year deal), meaning you get one of the most lusted-after music phones on the market for a song (see what we did there?).

For those still in the dark, the Upstage is about the best musicphone we’ve seen. It has a dual-device design that’s new and quite handy. One side is a phone, the other a media player. It’s a candy mint and a breath mint, and with the dual-battery design, you don’t have to sacrifice the quality of either.

Still, the phone’s capacity is small as compared to dedicated media players, but with the prices of removable media cards continuing their decline, that will someday be less of an issue. This is the only phone Sprint offers that we’d consider. Keep it up, Yellow.
