Either this Sony Vaio had a Virgin Mary burnt into its casing or this bidder is just plain dumb. I’m going to go with the latter, since this eBay auction for a Sony Vaio VGN-0FJ270/B ended bidding at a whopping $10099! Nothing was special about it either and the seller wasn’t being deceptive. In fact, all the description read was:
“You are bidding on an EXCELLENT CONDITION Sony VGN-FJ270/B notebook. Had this notebook for less than 4 months. Got it brand new for Christmas and had limited use. Everything is still in like brand new condition”
Perhaps all that Peyote the bidder ate did a number on his ability to bid correctly on eBay. Either way, I’m sure the seller of this auction is pumping his fist in the air right now and picking up a brand new Sony Vaio for an 1/8th of the winning bid.
