Dance Dance Revolution is Healthy, Experts Say

According to researchers at West Virgina University, Dance Dance Revolution is healthy for kids. The study required kids to play DDR five days a week for at least 30 minutes. It found that the participants did not gain weight and experienced improvements in aerobic capacity, blood pressure and overall fitness level. Researchers also found that it gave the kids at better attitude toward exercise.

Cool stuff, but not really surprising. Consistent physical activity is one of the best regulators of endorphins available. And it makes sense that kids would prefer to play a game rather than do some ridiculous exercise. I hope more games emerge that compel people into action.
