For the low low, one-time cost of $60, the Tornado lets you transfer files between Windows-based computers via a USB connection. One end goes in one system, the other in the other system and then you just drag and drop to your heart’s content between the two. There’s no software to install, either. Once you’re connected, you get a split-screen interface with views of the drives and folder setups for the PCs (see the screenshot after the jump).
But that’s all it does. Handy if you constantly need to move large files between computers, but otherwise it’s a task that can be remedied with a flash drive or a CD-R (though the direct USB connection would be faster).
