Iomega And Mac Make Sweet, Sweet Love

Last I can remember, Iomega used to be down with Macs back in the Zip Drive days. But as of lately, I haven’t really seen much of Iomega kicking it with Mac. Therefore I am happy to announce that Iomega has introduced two new Mac-only hard drives. The first is the UltraMax desktop drive. This bad boy comes with 1TB of storage, has Firewire and USB 2.0 ports, has a USB hub built-in, and can be used as a RAID 1 device.

The other hard drive from Iomega is the “Black” drive. Much more portable than the UltraMax, Blackie has 120GB of storage and has USB 2.0 and Firewire connections. The best part is you don’t need a power adapter for it either. Just plug it in and you’re ready to rock some P2P computing (that’s porn to porn). What makes both these drives Mac-only? They initially come formatted with the Mac file system. Sweet! You can grab the UltraMAx for only $500 and the Black drive for $190.
