Belkin Drops Gobs of Zune Accessories

With the launch of Microsoft’s Zune imminent, it’s a surprise we haven’t seen more Zune accessories yet. Belkin, at least, is on the ball—or on the Zune.

It’s announced a bunch of Zune accessories that anyone with an iPod should be familiar with. Most expensive amongst accessories is is the TuneBase FM Transmitter for Zune. It’ll retail for $79.99. The TuneBase seems to stick to a dashboard for broadcasting to your car stereo. Its FM transmitting range is between 88.1MHz – 107.9MHz. The device features an LCD for displaying which frequency its on and the unit can be positioned either vertically or horizontally for optimum viewing.

The other big product is the TunePower which is said to be able to extend Zune battery life up to six hours. It has a fold-out kickstand for hands-free viewing and it doubles as a protective case. There are also a bunch of cases ranging from $19.99 – $29.99.

The TuneBase and TunePower will both be available in late November, while the cases should be available around Zune launch.
